Mechanism Of Action Of Ketoconazole
Ketoconazole is an imidazole antifungal agent used in the prevention and treatment of a variety of fungal infections.
It functions by preventing the synthesis of ergosterol, the fungal equivalent of cholesterol, thereby increasing membrane fluidity and preventing growth of the fungus.
Therapeutic Indications Of Vavo Shampoo
Vavo Shampoo is used as a treatment to get rid of dandruff, psoriasis, yeast infections, itchy scalp, seborrheic dermatitis and other skin infections.
Method Of Administration Of Vavo Shampoo
- Shampoo twice a week for a month, then once a week for a month, and then once every two weeks if necessary.
- Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
- Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
Undesirable Side Effects Of Vavo Shampoo
Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:

- skin burning sensation
- contact dermatitis
- hypersensitivity
